Extreme heat is a serious health risk, especially for older adults, infants and young children, pregnant people and anyone with a heart or breathing condition. Fans and personal evaporative coolers are not a substitute for air conditioning or medical care in dangerous heat. If you or someone else feels unwell in the heat, seek medical help.
4. Performance varies
How well any cooling method works depends on room size, insulation, humidity, sun exposure, airflow, outdoor temperature and how the device is used. Nothing on this website is a promise of a particular temperature, energy saving or cost saving in your home.
